Lane Woodworth “Woody’ Goss ’55 died on May 6. He is survived by sons Charles ’84, Philip ’89 and Edward, Tu’86. His wife, Nancy, passed away in 2007. Woody entered Dartmouth from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts.

Peter Mentz Jebsen ’55 died July 10, 2014. He came to Dartmouth from Kristiansand, Norway, and competed in track and cross country. He was a member of the Cosmopolitan Club and DOC and graduated from Tuck School in 1956.
John Percival Meyer ’55 died on November 11, 2014. He was described by son Will as “the best man I ever knew.” John came to Dartmouth from Westfield (Massachusetts) High School.
Eric James Moore ’55 died in Vista, California, on July 21, 2014. He came to Dartmouth from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois. Eric left before graduating and became a Navy fighter pilot.

Robert Daniel Musser Jr. ’55, the chairman emeritus of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan, and gracious host of the 2011 mini-reunion, passed away in Lansing, Michigan, on April 13 of congestive heart failure.
William Honeycut Bickford ’55 died on June 2, 2013. He came to college from Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, having graduated from Upper Darby High School.
Howard Randall Deming ’55, M.D., died peacefully with his family at his bedside on May 5. A Vermonter by birth, he attended Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans and for one year Hotchkiss School before matriculating at Dartmouth.
Wayne Estey Cliff ’55, Tu’56, died on March 17 following a long battle with respiratory failure. He came to Dartmouth from Chicago on a Navy ROTC scholarship and earned a A.B., and then an M.B.A. from Tuck in 1956.

Allen Eugene Palmquist ’55 died on February 4 following a brief battle with cancer. Always a Missourian he came to Dartmouth from Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School. The Green Book says he was called “The Palm” but later preferred Allen.
