Charles Dunbar Pulis Jr. ’55

Charles Dunbar Pulis Jr. ’55 died in Westfield, New Jersey, on November 11, 2017. “Bud” came to Dartmouth from Taft School in Watertown, Connecticut. He majored in history and was a member of WDBS, Profound Thought and Alpha Delta Phi. Bud graduated from naval officer candidate school in 1956 and served as an executive officer and navigator on minesweepers until 1959. He then began a career in banking and insurance. In 1958 he became vice president of U.S. Life. Bud is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara.
