Alfred E. Pill ’55

Alfred E. Pill ’55 passed away on January 21 in Newton, Massachusetts. He is survived by his sons, Jeffrey and David. He was predeceased by Lois, his wife of 65 years. Born and raised in the Mattapan section of Boston, Al went to the Huntington School for Boys. At Dartmouth Al took a course of studies that enabled him to earn an M.B.A. from Tuck Business School. He was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi. After completing two years of military service, Al entered his family’s electrical products business and became CEO. When the company was acquired by Sonepar SA in 2007, Al managed the family corporate real estate portfolio.
