William Murray Wilbur Jr. ’55

William Murray Wilbur Jr. ’55 died November 6, 2017, in Tilton, New Hampshire. He came to Dartmouth from nearby Lebanon High School. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta and Air Force ROTC. Bill earned an M.B.A. from Tuck Business School in 1957 and began his business career in New York City in 1959. After working in marketing for Colgate-Palmolive in the 1960s, he became advertising manager for Kellogg Co. in 1975. He was named president of Joseph E. Seagram, USA in 1982. Bill retired from his career in marketing and advertising in 1998 and moved back to New Hampshire. He is survived by his daughters, Amy, Melissa and Jenny.
