Matthew B. Weinberg ’55

Matthew B. Weinberg ’55 passed away in San Francisco on June 26. He is survived by his wife, Barbara, and sons Daniel ’98 and Mark. A graduate of Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York, Matt’s goal was to be a lawyer when he came to Dartmouth. He majored in philosophy and was a member of the Pre-Law Club, the Forensic Union, and the varsity debate team. Matt was also a member of Delta Sigma Rho and Navy ROTC. After serving as a lieutenant in the Navy, Matt earned a J.D. at Harvard Law School. He became the deputy attorney general of the State of California and founded a law firm in San Francisco specializing in healthcare cases.
