Ronald Thomas Murphy ’55

Ronald Thomas Murphy ’55 passed away in Estero, Florida, on August 8. He is survived by daughter Christina and son Thomas; wife Catherine predeceased him. Ron came to Dartmouth from Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania. At Dartmouth he majored in history and developed an interest in French and German languages. He was also a member of DOC and Kappa Kappa Kappa. After two years with the U.S. Army in Italy, Ron joined the Singer Co. and started a successful business career in Europe.
