Jay Raymond Olson Jr. ’55

Jay Raymond Olson Jr. ’55 passed away July 7 in Naples, Florida. He is survived by Lyn, his wife of 68 years; children Nancy, Jay, and Chip; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Jay came to Dartmouth from Edina High School in Minneapolis. He majored in economics and was a member of Phi Delta Theta and the Spanish Club. Beginning his business career in New York with Continental Can Co., Jay rose to become chief financial officer and president of several Fortune 500 companies. He retired to Naples and began a second career as a financial consultant.
