David Keith Page ’55

David Keith Page ’55 died on July 1, 2014. He came to the College from Youngstown, Ohio, and graduated from the Rayen School. Majoring in English, David joined Tau Epsilon Phi, the Pre-law Club (president in 1955) and earned a Rufus Choate scholar award. He received a law degree from Harvard in 1958 and continued his education the next year as a Fulbright scholar at the London School of Economics studying corporate law. He became a partner in the law firm of Honigman, Miller in Detroit and participated in many community projects. His civic activities included vice chairman of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, chairman of the board of Children’s Hospital of Michigan, director of the music society and board member of the Detroit Zoological Society and president of Temple Beth El. Dave conceded he was a “hopelessly unsuccessful and frustrated tennis player.” He received many honors for his civic work from the city and the Jewish community. In addition to his corporate work at the law firm, he served as chairman of the board at Meadowbrook Insurance Group and Allied Supermarkets. For his work in the Detroit community and contributions to Dartmouth, he was awarded our class leadership award in 2012. Dave is survived by his wife, Andrea, children Jason, Mark and Sarah and several grandchildren.
