John Kingsley Foster ’55

John Kingsley Foster ’55 died on June 28 in Harwich Port, Massachusetts. “King” is survived by his wife, Margaret, and sons John ’84, James ’86, and Jeffrey ’88. King came to Dartmouth from Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. He majored in geography and was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon. After completing his military service, King became vice president of sales for Packaging Industries Group in Hyannis, Massachusetts. He invented a number of home energy conservation products, which became a separate division for his company.
