Richard M. Targett Jr. ’55

Richard M. Targett Jr. ’55 passed away on October 15, 2018, in his hometown of Danbury, Connecticut. He came to Dartmouth from Danbury High School and was a member of Kappa Sigma, Dartmouth Outing Club, and Green Key. After completing his military service, Dick returned to Danbury and began a lifelong career with Aetna Casualty and Surety Co. He continued his interest in the Dartmouth outdoor life and was a member of the Moosilauke Forum. Dick was survived by his wife, Joanne, and children Nancy ’84, Christopher ’91, Amy, Ellen, Patricia, Richard, Robert, and Timothy.
