Theodore Ely Jr. ’55

Theodore Ely Jr. ’55 died July 26, 2015, at his home in Holyoke, Massachusetts. He came to Dartmouth from Providence Country Day School, living at that time in Rumford, Rhode Island. At Dartmouth Ted was a member of the DOC winter sports division and Sigma Chi and attended Tuck School. Always an outdoorsman, Ted continued skiing and backpacking for most of his life. He worked as a self-employed salesperson and was affiliated with several companies in central Massachusetts. He loved jazz and attended many concerts and musical performances in New England.
