Frederick M. Lione Jr. ’55

Frederick M. Lione Jr. ’55 passed away on October 26, 2022, in Norwalk, Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and children Ginger ’92, Ann, Christopher, David, Heather, John, Sarah, and Ted. Fred was born in Stamford, Connecticut, and came to Dartmouth from Kings School, where he graduated as valedictorian. A history major, Fred was a member of Psi Upsilon and the Corinthian Yacht Club. Fred joined his family construction business in Stamford, Connecticut, and served as president and CEO from 1968 to 1980. He then became vice president of the Rockefeller Group in New York City and managed projects throughout the United States for the next 20 years.
