Gustave C. Aberle ’55

Gustave C. Aberle ’55 passed away on April 29 in Folsom, California. He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth and Pamela. Gus came to Dartmouth from the Hills School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta and Navy ROTC. He earned an M.B.A. from Tuck Business School in 1956 and completed his service in the Navy as a lieutenant in 1959. After starting his business career with U.S. Steel, Gus joined the financial management firm of classmate Tom Roulston in 1979 and worked in London for 19 years. Gus was a strong supporter of the Dartmouth College Fund, both as a volunteer and as a contributor for 66 years. He also held several offices in regional clubs.
