Jed Isaacs ’55

Jed Isaacs ’55 passed away in Stamford, Connecticut, on December 3, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Susan, sons Bill and John, daughter Jane, and nine grandchildren. Jed came to Dartmouth from Poly Prep High School in Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of Tau Epsilon Phi, WDBS, and Army ROTC. After graduation Jed earned an M.B.A. from Tuck School in 1956 and served in the Army as a first lieutenant. He then earned a law degree from New York Law School. Jed became a senior accountant with Pete Marwick Mitchel Co. before becoming a managing partner of Edward Isaacs & Co., the firm his father founded in 1929. Starting in 1957, Jed volunteered for 26 years as a class agent for the Alumni Fund. He was also treasurer of the class of 1955 from 1976 to 1980.
