Roger Raymond Sherman ’55

Roger Raymond Sherman ’55 died of pneumonia complications on October 14, 2013. At his death Roger resided in Ashburn, Virginia. He graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane, Washington, and at Dartmouth majored in sociology. He participated in College government and was a photographer for the Green Book. Roger was also a member of the Canoe Club and Dartmouth Players. Following graduation he spent three years in the U.S. Army counter-intelligence branch, primarily stationed in Japan and Korea. A long-time resident of greater Washington, D.C., Roger retired in 1999 as a senior program manager for GTE, consulting for several government agencies. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, two daughters and two stepchildren.
