Arthur A. Wellman ’55

Arthur A. Wellman ’55 died June 22, 2019, at Jamestown, New York. He was born in Jamestown and came to Dartmouth from Kimball Union Academy. He majored in art and was a member of Delta Kappa Epsilon, DOC, the Dartmouth Players, and the Glee Club. After completing his military service, Art returned to Jamestown to begin his career as an interior designer. He was a member of the American Society of Interior Design. He also served his community as a justice and volunteer fireman. He was an alumni interviewer for Dartmouth admissions from 2004 to 2015. He is survived by his children, Albert, Artur, Francesca, and Meredith.
