David J. Steinberg ’55

David J. Steinberg ’55 passed away on January 8 in Narberth, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife Chaile; children Robert, Jeffrey, and Gail; and grandchildren Ben, Annabel, Chelsea, Eitan and Zachary. David came to Dartmouth from Central High School in Philadelphia. He majored in government and was a member of WDBS, the Dartmouth Players, the Law Club, and the Press Club. After graduation David earned an LL.B. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and an LL.M. in tax law from N.Y.U. Law School. In 1976 David formed his own company, specializing in entertainment law. Active in alumni affairs, David was secretary and president of the Philadelphia region club and was an Alumni Fund regional agent.
