Randolph Jennison Hayes ’55

Randolph Jennison Hayes ’55 died January 19 in Jensen Beach, Florida. A native of West Newton, Massachusetts, Randy came to Dartmouth from Tabor Academy, lettered in football and lacrosse, and was a member of Psi Upsilon and NROTC. After graduating from Tuck Business School, Randy served two years as a U.S. Navy officer before beginning a distinguished 33-year career with IBM. He retired to Jensen Beach in 1996. Randy played an active role in alumni fund raising. He received the Class of 1955 Award for his efforts as head class agent. Randy is survived by Betty, his wife of 60 years, children Randolph Jr. and Pamela and four grandchildren.
