Mary J. Schneider ’76 died of ALS on March 14 in Hanover. Schneider, a clinical psychologist, completed her college work at Dartmouth in its first class to admit women and her Ph.D. at the University of Vermont.
David R. Dollar ’76 died October 6 in Baltimore from complications following a bone marrow transplant with wife Paige and children Evan and Isabel by his side.
James N. “Reggie” Cant ’76 of Rotterdam, New York, died of cancer August 22, 2023, after a brief illness. Reggie was the son of the late Barbara Dunn Cant and Henry Cant.

Mark R. Stebbins ’76 passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on June 17, 2021. Mark grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Robert K. McIlrath ’76 died May 31 in Pepin, Wisconsin. Known at Dartmouth as “Chief,” he and his artist wife, Barbara, lived in a farmhouse not far from Minneapolis-St. Paul.
William John Schaeffer III ’76 of West Chester, Pennsylvania, died March 18 at Chester County Hospital after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. He was born March 7, 1954, in West Reading, Pennsylvania to the late William Jr.

Craig Randall Triplett ’76 passed away on March 29 as a result of severe spinal cord injuries sustained eight years ago in a bicycle accident that left him a paraplegic.

Bruce Bokor ’76 of Northampton, Massachusetts, died unexpectedly May 28, 2014, at his home. After Dartmouth Bruce went on to be a lifelong scholar, with a probing and compassionate intellect.
