James M. Hutton III ’50 of Rye, New York, and lastly of Nantucket, Massachusetts, died on July 25, 2010. While at Dartmouth he was a member of Psi Upsilon, where he was social chairman.
Wilmer Hill ’50 died on March 21, 2010. While at Dartmouth he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, the Ledyard Canoe Club and the Dartmouth Outing Club. Bill lived in Hitchcock Hall for four years.
William B. Gumbart Jr. ’50 died on May 2, 2010. While at Dartmouth he majored in sociology. During World War II Bill served in England and France with the Army’s 874th Ordnance Heavy Automotive Maintenance Co.
Thomas W. Cornwall ’50 died on January 29 at the Deerfield Lifespace Care Center in Urbandale, Iowa, after a short battle with cancer.
Roger V. Zorn ’48 died December 27, 2010, in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Myron Robert Herrick ’48 died of a heart attack in California on February 13. Bob came to Dartmouth in June 1944 and completed two semesters before entering the Navy, where he served as a disbursing storekeeper.
Richard H. Greene ’48 died on February 7 in Exeter, New Hampshire. Dick came to Dartmouth from Needham (Massachusetts) High School, received his B.A. in 1948 and M.B.A.
Allen “Mac” E. McMichael ’48 died in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on February 14. He was born in Morristown, Minnesota, and served in World War II as an enlisted Marine before coming to Dartmouth under the Marine V-12 program.
John Starkweather Fenno ’48 died on February 16 in Canajoharie, New York, where he had lived since 1963. He graduated from Western High School in Washington, D.C., served in the Navy during World War II, received his B.A.
Ryland E. Robbins ’44 died on February 24 at his home in Jupiter Island, Florida. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey, and spent summers in his youth with his family in Franconia, New Hampshire.
