Joaquin Aguirre ’44 died on January 7 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. “Jack” came to Dartmouth as the Bolivian honors exchange student, studying comparative literature and philosophy, and went on to study at Stanford University.
Donald McCorkindale ’43 died March 12 at the Liberty Common Nursing Home in North Chatham, Massachusetts.
Tyler Harold Bunce ’43 died February 11 in Jamestown, New York.
William J. Aylward Jr. ’41 died in Lihue, Hawaii, on February 1. Born in 1918 in Fall River, Massachusetts, he graduated Dartmouth with a B.A., joining the Navy’s V-7 program while still in college.
William Adams Russell ’39 died March 2 at his home in Francestown, New Hampshire. Bill did his secondary school at Suffield (Connecticut) Academy.
Joseph E. Mesics ’54 died February 1 in Healdsburg, California. He entered Dartmouth from Caldwell High School in New Jersey.
Clifford R. Feakes ’54 passed away on December 25, 2010. Originally from Rahway, New Jersey, Cliff entered Dartmouth from Highland Park (New Jersey) High School.
Raymond Lawrence Mullin ’51 died on December 20, 2010, of Parkinson’s disease at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs, Florida.
Robert H. Woody ’50 died on April 21, 2010, in Salt Lake City, Utah, surrounded by his family. During World War II he served from 1943 to 1946 with the famed 10th Mountain Division in Italy.
