Richard L. Bohanon ’57 passed away January 18 at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After graduating from Casady School in Oklahoma City Dick came to Dartmouth, where he majored in history and was a member of Sigma Chi and the Pre-Law Club.
Dean Frederick Hofe ’56 died on February 11.
Harvey Jay Hambleton ’56 died surrounded by his family on February 1 at the Bailey Center for Caring at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Florida.
Hugh Llewelyn Roberts Jr. ’54 died November 2, 2010, in Las Vegas, Nevada, after a long battle with lung cancer.
Gary Loomis Blaich ’68, M.D., died at home in Kilauea, Hawaii, of cancer on November 25, 2010. Born and raised in Hawaii, at Dartmouth Gary was a brother at Sigma Alpha Epsilon and a member of Casque & Gauntlet and Green Key.
David George Ovaitt ’67 of Wooster, Ohio, died on March 6, 2010, at the Louis Stokes, Virginia, hospital. Dave came to college from Ramsey High School in New Jersey and majored in government.
Edwin Jordan Masters ’67, M.D., of Sikeston, Missouri, died June 21, 2009. Ed came to college from the Advance (Missouri) High School, majored in economics and was a Theta Delta Chi. He earned an M.D. from the University of Tennessee in 1971.
David Tullis Houston Jr. ’67 of Short Hills, New Jersey, died on October 4, 2010. Dave came to college from the Pingry School, majored in government, earned an M.B.A.
Robert Shearer Ervin ’67 of Dover, New Hampshire, died of pancreatic cancer at home on March 10, 2010. Robert came to college from the J.E.B.
Roy Victor Erickson ’67, M.D. of West Simsbury, Connecticut, died on September 3, 2010, from an auto accident.
