David Tullis Houston Jr. ’67

David Tullis Houston Jr. ’67 of Short Hills, New Jersey, died on October 4, 2010. Dave came to college from the Pingry School, majored in government, earned an M.B.A. in finance and accounting from Columbia University and was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma. He served four years as a naval officer. In 2004 he was elected president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, which his father had helped found during World War II. Dave served as president of Colliers Houston & Co. then joined Cassidy Turley. He was considered one of the premier brokers and consultants in the New Jersey real estate industry. Dave was a railroad aficionado, building model trains and riding the real ones. His basement contained some 140 cars and 30 engines. He is survived by Jane, his wife of 42 years; sons William, James ’02 and Andrew; and sisters Cindy and Anne.
