Ihab L. Saad ’86 of Virginia Beach, Virginia, died on August 8, 2024, due to complications from advanced Type 2 diabetes. Ihab received his A.B. from Dartmouth in engineering and his B.E.
Kathryn A. Miller ’86 of San Francisco died on March 17. Kathryn received her A.B. in English and was involved in Kappa Delta Epsilon/Alpha Chi Omega/Xi K, and women’s track and field and cross country. She earned her Ph.D.
Andrew J. Gora ’86 of Toms River, New Jersey, died of congestive heart failure on March 15. Andy received his A.B.
Sean Peter O’Hearn ’86 of Tampa died unexpectedly on December 24, 2023, from a ruptured aortic aneurysm. Sean received his A.B.
Melissa Baten Caswell ’86 of Palo Alto, California, died on February 6 of pancreatic cancer. Melissa received her A.B. in psychology and her M.B.A. from Tuck in 1990.
Andrew MacKenzie Bohman ’86 of Chatham, Massachusetts, died at age 58 on January 25 after a brief illness. He came to Dartmouth from Deerfield Academy.
Molly Lynn Amick ’86—a nurse practitioner for 22 years, self-avowed “research junkie,” and advocate for what she called “a self-determined death”—died March 31, 2018.
Alison Hines ’86 died on January 22, surrounded by the spirits of her father, Herbert Hines Jr., brother Christopher, sister Melanie, and niece Rebekkah.
Lillie Brown-McNeill ’86 of Lynchburg, Virginia, died on June 20 after a brief period of illness. Werner Tillinger ’86 officiated at Lillie’s funeral on June 27 in support of her husband, William, son James and niece Alesha.
Mark Andrew Batory ’86 of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, died unexpectedly on August 22. Mark was born in Ohio in 1964. He grew up in Pickerington, Ohio, and attended Bishop Hartley High School in Columbus.
Gerald “Jerry” D’Amelia ’86 of Clifton Park, New York, husband of 26 years of Mary, passed away April 12 after living with ALS for four years.
Maureen Obiamaka Aniakudo ’86 died June 3. Obi, whose name means “Gracious of Heart,” was born on October 30, 1964, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Tinya Lynnette Banks ’86 died February 8. Her funeral service was held on February 16 at the Basilica of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Nancy Ann Bronder ’86 died August 7 of injuries sustained in a bicycle accident in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Nancy was a graduate of the Bancroft School.
