Eric “Bolo” Olin ’78 died in Connecticut on June 4, 2022, due to complications from cardio-vascular disease “that were deepened by a penchant for cigars and Diet Coke,” according to his brother, Dirk ’81.
Bill Cunningham ’78 died on March 21 in Boonton Township, New Jersey. Bill came to Dartmouth from Islip, New York, and lived in Lord his first year.
Jane Barry Hartwell ’78 died on December 7, 2023, in Portland, Maine, after a protracted struggle with pancreatic cancer. Jane came to Dartmouth from Hingham, Massachusetts, and lived in French Hall her first year.
Kathy Maher ’78 of Wellesley, Massachusetts, passed away January 21 after a hard-fought battle with endometrial cancer. Kathy came to Dartmouth from Langley High School in McLean, Virginia. She lived in Hinman freshman year.
David McKinlay Jones ’78 passed away from natural causes at home in Tucson, Arizona, on December 27, 2021. Dave came to Dartmouth from Darien, Connecticut, and graduated with a degree in geology.
Denny DeVaux ’78 died after being struck by a car near his home in Thetford, Vermont, on January 6. Denny grew up in nearby Norwich, Vermont, and lived in South Fayerweather his freshman year.
Kevin Barber ’78 died in Detroit on January 31 after having a stroke the previous October. Kevin came to Dartmouth from Detroit Central High School.
Donald Nemcek Jr. ’78 died on November 21, 2020. He lived in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Don was the valedictorian of Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois, and lived in Fayerweather Hall freshman year.

Debra Ramona Prairie Chief Kodaseet ’78 died on September 9, 2020, in her home in Clinton, Oklahoma. Debra came to Dartmouth from Clinton and lived in Bissell her freshman year.

Athena Robinson Randolph ’78, M.D., died of cancer on October 25, 2019, in Lake City, Florida. Tina was born in Mississippi and grew up in Milwaukee. At Dartmouth she earned an A.B.
David Graham ’78, a former class president, died in Seattle on May 26 after a long battle with melanoma. While at Dartmouth Dave majored in biochemistry, was a member of Alpha Delta, and played on the varsity golf team.
