Richard M. Lenio ’58 passed away November 14, 2025. Dick grew up in Rome, New York, and lived most of his adult life about 100 miles west of there, in Pittsford and East Rochester.

Charles J. Neff Jr. ’58 , Tu’59, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 21 in Durham, North Carolina. Chuck was born and grew up in Canfield, Ohio, where he was president of his high school student council.

Raymond P. Robbins ’58 died on October 31, 2025. Ray was born in Framingham, Massachusetts, and grew up in nearby Hopkinton. He majored in chemistry, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and was a member of Theta Delta Chi.

Sander J. Robins ’58 , M.D., passed away on December 21, 2025. Sandy came to Dartmouth from Trenton (New Jersey) High School, majored in philosophy, and was a brother at Tau Epsilon Phi.

Herbert G. Swarzman ’58 passed away in Tampa on August 27, 2025. Herb was born in Brooklyn, majored in philosophy and English and was a brother at Pi Lambda Phi. He earned a law degree at Brooklyn Law School in 1967.

Coleman P. Colla ’58 , Th’59, passed away in Los Angeles on September 3, 2025. He was born in Philadelphia and grew up in nearby Haverford, Pennsylvania, and Buffalo, New York, where he graduated from the Nichols School.

Charles H. Cowperthwaite ’58

Charles H. Cowperthwaite ’58 died on December 31. “Kit” was born in Denver and lived most of his life there. At Dartmouth he majored in English, was vice president of Kappa Sig, and was active with the ski patrol and DOC.
