John Atwell Wolfer ’54 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 5.

John W. Ballard ’55 passed away on April 30 in Los Altos Hills, California.

Robert C. Brown ’55 passed away in Torrance, California, on October 10, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Betty, and stepchildren Sharon, Stephen, Larry, and Tim.

Jere Daniell ’55 died on May 17 at his home in Hanover. He is survived by his wife, Elena, and children Matthew, Alexander, Clifford, Breena, and Douglas.

Kenneth P. Brasted II ’57 died on May 7. Ken graduated from Wichita (Kansas) High School.

David E. Duffy ’57 died peacefully on May 26 in North Fort Myers, Florida, where he resided for the past 32 years.

James R. Samartini ’57 passed away peacefully at his home on May 15. Jim came to Dartmouth from Shaker Heights (Ohio) High School.

Charles A. Schneider Jr. ’57 died on April 27 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Charlie graduated from Scarsdale (New York) High School.

Edward D. Waldron IV ’57 passed away on May 10. Ed came to Dartmouth from Wellesley (Massachusetts) High School. He majored in history and was in Theta Delta Chi.

Peter B. Flowers ’58, M.D.,passed away on April 22. Pete was a zoology major and a Phi Delt, rowed freshman crew, and was active in the DOC.
