Peter B. Flowers ’58

Peter B. Flowers ’58, M.D.,passed away on April 22. Pete was a zoology major and a Phi Delt, rowed freshman crew, and was active in the DOC. He graduated from medical school at Temple University and served two years in the Navy Medical Corps. For the next 40 years Pete was a family practice physician in his hometown of Lebanon, Pennsylvania. At the same time he served as medical director of a local extended-care facility. Pete said of the U.S. healthcare system: “Implosion of the present system is looming. I hope that a solution will evolve that will be economically feasible without compromising the quality of patient care.” Pete’s wife, Anne, and a daughter survive him.
