Carl Gregory Peterson Jr. ’52, M.D., died on June 8. He was the husband of the late Cecil, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.

John Scott Rambach ’54 of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away July 6. He was born May 8, 1931, in Boston to Raymond and Mary Rambach.

Thomas Francis Scott ’54, M.D., a distinguished physician and dedicated community servant, passed away peacefully at his home on July 24.

Lester K. “Pete” Henderson Jr. ’55, M.D., passed away in Hanover on July 8. He is survived by Ann, his wife of 67 years; daughters Heidi and Heather; and five grandchildren.

Robert M. Wool ’55 passed away on July 3 in New York City. He is survived by daughters Vanessa and Zoe and his former wife, Bridget.

Richard C. Handy ’57 passed away peacefully on July 6 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine. Dick came to Dartmouth from Mount Hermon School.

David B. Keith ’57 of Ocala, Florida, died on July 29. David graduated from Brockton (Massachusetts) High School and Thayer Academy in nearby Braintree.

Joel S. Mitchell Jr. ’57 passed away on March 24. Joel came to Dartmouth from Deerfield Academy.

Robert C. Ohl ’57 passed away from cancer on May 9 at his home in Tudeils, France. Bob came to Dartmouth from Paul D. Schreiber High School in Port Washington, New York.

Geoffrey H. Root ’57 passed away on November 17, 2023. Geoff graduated from Phillips Academy Andover.
