James R. Wylie III ’51, described by family and friends as an “adventurer, bush pilot, poet, geologist, farmer, and storyteller,” died on August 18 at his home in Meridian, Idaho.
William Thomas Robbins Sr. ’54 died on August 3 in Sarasota, Florida. Bill came to Dartmouth from Shaker Heights, Ohio, where he attended the University School.
John Philip Brower ’52, a resident of the Whittier Manor of Jacaranda Trace in Venice, Florida, passed away on July 23. He was born in Cincinnati on December 30, 1930.
Charles D. Storer Jr. ’51, a man of unusually broad interests and wide-ranging curiosity who never stopped learning, died on August 1, 2016, in Riverdale, New York.
Eugene Norman Rosenberg ’52 passed away on July 14 at his home in Carmel Valley, California. Gene was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, in 1930 and graduated from Classical High School there in 1948.
Walter Tumeniuk ’54 passed away on September 15, 2018, at the Ocean Medical Center in Lakewood, New Jersey. Walt was born in Kiev, Ukraine. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.
Louis J. Rovero ’57, previously of Niantic, Connecticut, passed away August 3 in New London, Connecticut.
William Hamilton Walls ’54 passed away on July 11 in New Jersey. Bill came to Dartmouth from Atlantic City (New Jersey) High School.
Joseph L. Kagle Jr. ’55 passed away on July 12 in Waco, Texas. He came to Dartmouth from Perry High School in Pittsburgh.
Edward M. Hunter ’55 passed away June 6, 2017, in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Sharon. Colorado was always home for Ed.
