Henry Gordon Starkey ’60 of New London, New Hampshire, passed away July 12 after a long battle with esophageal cancer.
Charles B. Faegre ’63, part of a family with several Dartmouth graduates, died on May 26. He graduated from the Blake School in Minneapolis and from Dartmouth with an A.B. in economics.
Robert G. Lunden ’63 died on August 1 with his family at his side near his home in Ballston Spa, New York. He was born in Bethlehem, New York, and graduated from Bethlehem Central High School.
Francis J. Ambrogio II ’83 died on July 9. He is survived by his son, Francis III, former wife Martha, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and loved ones.
George Jan Konikowski ’67 of New York City died on April 23. Born in London, England, George came to college from Regis High School in New York City and majored in anthropology.
Walter Henry Stern ’66 passed away on August 6, surrounded by his loving family, after fighting the consequences of brain surgery and a stroke he suffered in 2011.
Robert A. Perkins ’55 passed away on September 17, 2018, in St. Michaels, Maryland. Bob came to Dartmouth from Bay Village, Ohio.
Robert Earl Cleveland II ’55 died June 6 in Cary, North Carolina. From Marine Corps officer to Presbyterian minister, Bob had a career filled with service to others.
Robert D. Shannon ’51 died on July 25 in Stamford, Connecticut. He was an intensely loyal Dartmouth alumnus who took pride in the fact that two of his daughters, Cindy ’76 and JoAnn ’85, also earned degrees from the College.
Victor Rudolf Trautwein Jr. ’52 of Portsmouth, Rhode Island, passed away on June 26 in Hartford, Connecticut, after a brief illness. Vic was born September 28, 1930, in Chicago.
