Michael L. McKelvy ’65 died on December 23. 2023, in Saco, Maine. Born in Ohio, he came to Dartmouth from West Hartford, Connecticut.

Steven L. Sloca ’66 passed away at his home in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania, on April 1, 2023.

William Becker Bowers ’67 passed away peacefully after a brief illness at his home in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, on October 27, 2023, with his family by his side.

Walter Duane Bowman ’67 passed away unexpectedly on November 5, 2023, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he had been visiting family.

Martin Richard Gale ’67 passed away on December 18, 2023. Marty came to the College from Elizabeth, New Jersey; majored in sociology; and was a brother of Zeta Psi.

Jeffrey Mason Halenza ’67 died on January 12 in Smyrna, Georgia.

Stephen Cass Jones ’67 passed away on January 17 at his home in Florida of prostate cancer.

Lee Kenneth Richman ’67, M.D., passed away unexpectedly on Christmas morning, December 25, 2023. He came to the College from Westport, Connecticut, and majored in English.

Alec Evan Haag ’70 of Bennington, Vermont, passed away unexpectedly on January 7 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. He grew up in Ivyland, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

Thomas Tiemann ’70 died on December 21, 2023. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and raised in New Jersey, where his father worked in the Anheuser-Busch plant in Newark.
