As I write this column, it is the end of June; and, as you read this column, it is probably somewhere in the middle of August. The class of ’38 is eagerly anticipating the 75th.

September…the beginning of fall! The end of summer. I must share with you that on June 1 three tornadoes touched down in the Springfield, Massachusetts, area, marking a 40- to 50-mile path through Springfield, Wilbraham, Sturbridge and Monson.

Yesterday I had a lovely time visiting with Francis Mooney and his daughter Norma Milne. Norma brought Francis up for a visit to the College before he headed down to Florida for the month of March to visit his sister.
