Robert K. McIlrath ’76 died May 31 in Pepin, Wisconsin. Known at Dartmouth as “Chief,” he and his artist wife, Barbara, lived in a farmhouse not far from Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Douglas Arthur Canning ’79 died on May 30 after suffering severe injuries from a bicycle accident.

Ryder Sherwin ’97 passed away on March 9 at home in Norwich, Vermont. Born September 28, 1974, Ryder spent his life in the Upper Valley.

Jorge “George” Bahena ’12, Th’13, died on October 20, 2021. Jorge passed away in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was pursuing a Ph.D. in human genetics at Vanderbilt University.

Moriah “Mo” Wilson ’19 was a dedicated member of the women’s alpine ski team, a creative engineer, and a sister of Kappa Delta Epsilon.

Eric Gordon Winter Barradale ’44 passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021, in Brattleboro, Vermont.

James E. Cavanagh Jr. ’51, M.D., a distinguished surgeon and medical school teacher, died in Tallahassee, Florida, on May 7.

Richard J. Dunn ’51, longtime vice president of development and alumni affairs at Oberlin College, died on February 16. Dick grew up in Hamden, Connecticut.

Harvey L. Goldstock ’51, the successful leader of two linen rental companies, died on December 6, 2021, in his longtime hometown of Baltimore.

William C. “Bud” Lang ’51 died on March 12 in Providence, Rhode Island. He had lived for many years in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.
