Michael A. O’Keeffe ’60 passed away peacefully on July 22 at his home in Madison, Wisconsin. Michael was born on January 9, 1938, in Boston to Bernard and Grace O’Keeffe.

Joel “Ike” Eiserman ’65 lost his three-year battle with Lou Gehrig’s disease on April 29. He grew up in Lake Bluff, Illinois, and “came east” to attend Dartmouth.

Edward Peary Stafford Jr. ’65 died on November 11, 2017, from an intense and aggressive form of Lou Gehrig’s disease, the College recently learned.

Joseph Langdon Holmes ’73 died on May 26 at the Maplewood Nursing Home in Westmoreland, New Hampshire, after a yearlong battle with brain cancer.

Carol R. Spodobalski ’73 died unexpectedly on February 18, 2017, in Philadelphia of complications following surgery for cancer.

Clifford Douglas Croom ’75 passed away at the Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, on March 20 after a battle with cancer.

Guillermo Eduardo Heredia Stanley III ’92 passed away on January 17, at the age of 47, in Miami Beach, Florida. Guillermo was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

Allison Price Groff ’98 passed away peacefully at her home in Denver on May 8. She passed following a 20-year battle with chronic health issues, including late-stage Lyme disease.

John Hopkinson Jr. ’39 of West Hartford, Connecticut, died on January 8. Born on September 12, 1916, he was raised in Farmington, Connecticut.
