Allison Price Groff ’98

Allison Price Groff ’98 passed away peacefully at her home in Denver on May 8. She passed following a 20-year battle with chronic health issues, including late-stage Lyme disease. Allison believed deeply in kindness, beauty, honesty, and simplicity. She lived a life committed to these values. She gave freely of herself and was an inspiration to others. Despite her health issues, for nearly a decade Allison was the sole caregiver for her mother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s. Allison felt that her strong connections with family and friends sustained her. She is survived by her father, Neal; her mother, Diane; younger brothers Christian and Fletcher; Fletcher’s wife, Julie; and their sons, Barrett and Boden. Allison asked that she be celebrated rather than mourned. Donations may be made to LivLyme Foundation or to Denver Botanic Gardens.
