Charles K. Coe ’65 passed away on February 5. He was born in Detroit, the son of Charles L. and Virginia Coe. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, and daughter.

Woodhall “Sandy” Stopford ’65, M.D., a professor emeritus in community medicine and family health at Duke University, passed away on March 23 of multiple myeloma.

James Hodge Beardsley Jr. ’66 passed away peacefully at home on January 31, surrounded by loving family and caregivers.

Thomas A. Boyan Jr. ’66 died in Winnabow, North Carolina, on September 24, 2012, the College has recently learned.

Ralph E. Crump ’66, an adopted classmate and longtime member of the Thayer School’s board (1986-2010), passed away on March 16.

Steven Douglas Golladay ’68 of Hopewell Junction, New York, died on December 9, 2019, of Lewy body dementia, which was diagnosed only four weeks before his passing.

Allen Lynn Skean ’68 died on December 18, 2019. Al’s sardonic, defiant humor, a defining characteristic of his nature, was unique and multifaceted.

Thomas Armand Martinez ’71 died on November 19, 2019, from Lewy body dementia.

Robert William Hand ’71, M.D.—“Dr. Hand” to many—died on May 22. He was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and grew up in East Greenville, Pennsylvania.
