Harold R. Douglas ’58 passed away on June 3 in Portland, Oregon.

Frederick B. Bagnall ’58 died December 31, 2023. Fred grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, and came to Dartmouth from Vermont Academy.

Louis J. Bloomfield ’58, Tu’59, Th’59, died June 2. Lou grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, and lived nearly his whole life in the Cleveland suburbs.

David H. Cassidy ’58 passed away in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, of Parkinson’s disease on August 13, 2023.

John W. Chapman Jr ’58 died on May 8 of pancreatic cancer in York, Maine.

Paul J. Duffy Jr. ’58 died on February 4, 2023. Paul entered Dartmouth from the Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut. He was a member of Psi Upsilon and Dragon.

James D. Dougherty ’58 died at Shelter Island, New York, on August 19, 2023. Jim majored in government, was president of Delta Upsilon, and served on the Interfraternity Council.

Barnet C. Engler ’58 passed away on July 27, 2023.

Peter J. Epstein ’58, M.D., died on September 4, 2022. Peter grew up in Queens, New York, majored in zoology, and was active with Radio WDBS all four years.
