Hi, ’01s! Big congratulations on all of the new arrivals! Chiara (Grabill) Garonzik and her husband, Dave, are thrilled to welcome their son Taylor Fredric Garonzik, born April 28.

Hi all! There’s a bit less news to share this column (although not at all less exciting!) so I hope everyone is saving up for the reunion.

Hello, ’99s!


Summer is in full swing and the year is already halfway over. I hope you’re all making the most of it! There isn’t too much news to report, so this issue will be brief.


Remember sophomore summer, friends? Just writing this column up and thinking about when it will be published—deep in the heart of summer—makes me think back to what a great time that was. If only things were so easy now, right?


Rob Leathern wrote in to announce that his San Francisco-based company, XA.net, just launched its new ad platform for social media called optim.al.

Fellow, ’96s, spring (in the northern hemisphere) is finally upon us, and at the time of this writing the Royal Wedding is overcrowding media of all forms, there have been some tragic storms in the South, China’s population swells to 1.3 billion,

I hope this column finds you sipping lemonade and enjoying a beautiful summer day. Kick back, relax and read up on some of our fellow ’95s. 


The large majority of the Class Notes that I have written during the last couple years have been joyous affairs, relating a lot of the joys and successes that we gladly share with others: new jobs, new family members, new experiences.

So Brant Rose is a brilliant man. Trust me. A great idea was put forth—might have been his, might have been others—to have a global mini-reunion on April 2, which of course is the 92nd day of the year! He ran with it.
