William M. Hamel ’57 of Port Byron, New York, passed away on January 8 at his home with his wife, Carol, by his side. Bill came to Dartmouth from Hebron (Maine) Academy.

Robert E. Prasch ’57 of Grand Isle, Vermont, died on March 22. Bob grew up in Philadelphia and attended Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts.

Malcolm W. Robinson Jr. ’57 died on April 16 at his residence in Jacksonville, Florida. Mal graduated from Darien (Connecticut) High School.

Frederick G. Brown ’57, M.D.,of Danville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 24.

Frank T Szymanski ’57 of Coral Springs, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, died April 1, 2014. Frank attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh.

Walter Webster Topham ’59 died on February 20. He entered Dartmouth from Mount Herman School, majored in English, and was a member of Alpha Theta.

Patrick Owen Burns ’59 died on September 28, 2017. He entered Dartmouth from Fordham Preparatory School, majored in government and was a member of Delta Upsilon.

John Paul Cook ’59 died on December 22, 2017. He entered Dartmouth from Oxon Hill (Maryland) High School, majored in anthropology and was a member of Phi Kappa Psi.
