Grant McCord ’19 —a vibrant and passionate classmate known for his smile, quick wit, and warm and welcoming nature—died June 9.

Paul Korfonta ’86

Paul Korfonta ’86 of Arlington, Virginia, died on July 11 following a stroke. Paul received his A.B. in history and was involved in Alpha Delta (serving as its president) and Sphinx and played football.

Tracey L. Harden ’79

Tracey L. Harden ’79 died on August 19 in a car accident. Tracey was born on July 7, 1957; grew up in McConnellsville, New York; and attended Camden High School. At Dartmouth she lived in Mass Hall and majored in history.

David Michael DeSimone ’79

David Michael DeSimone ’79 died on July 12, 2024. He lived in Castle Rock, Colorado. Mike was born on February 3, 1957, and grew up near Philadelphia. At Dartmouth he majored in chemistry and joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

John B. Stimson ’76 , M.D., died July 23 at the University of Washington Medical Center after a year-long battle with cancer. John was born in Boston and spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest.

John S. Jenness Jr. ’70

John S. Jenness Jr. ’70 passed away on July 10 in South Paris, Maine. At Dartmouth John was a member of Zeta Psi and the Barbary Coast Jazz Band, majored in history, and played on the lacrosse team.
