Class Note 1951
Issue
November-December 2025
Class Note 1951. I open with a thank you to all of you who have cheerfully provided news—the life blood of the column and an important key to the connectedness that we all still feel. And it is another reminder of the extraordinarily good taste of Dartmouth’s admissions office 75 years ago. Ours is a remarkably capable and contributive class!
I have reported 246 deaths during my years as secretary and written obituaries for many of them. Our current count of living classmates is 75. I expect future columns will include more news of our class wives and widows; they are playing an increasing role in class activities.
I sign off with warm thanks to every member of the great class of ’51 family for the precious friendships that have brightened my life for all these years. Happy holidays!
