Class Note 1950

Class Note 1950. You are reading this after our 75th reunion September 28-30 in Hanover and I’ll have more to report in the next column. I received a lovely note from Brownlee, widow of our recently passed Bob Kirby, saying, “Since all my family has settled in Denver, I am in process of moving there myself—quickly before more of my grandchildren get taller than I am!” Old Home Days in Enfield, New Hampshire, had our esteemed treasurer (and the only other class officer extant) Doug Smith recognized as Enfield’s oldest resident. He was presented with a Boston Post Cane by the chair of the board of selectmen with a recital of Doug’s contributions to the town. Your scribe has changed his mailing address to the Timothy Wheeler House, 110 Walden St., Concord, MA 01742. My phone remains (978) 369-5879 though I prefer contact by email at smileytmr229@gmail.com.
