Helen C. Shelton ’86 has been named one of the “25 Most Influential Black Women in Business” by The Network Journal magazine. Shelton, a senior partner and director of multicultural marketing at Finn Partners Inc., specializes in the development and implementation of national and international public relations programs for Fortune 500 companies as well as nonprofit cultural and social service organizations.

Karen Morton ’88 is the new executive director of Good Beginnings of the Upper Valley, a West Lebanon, New Hampshire-based nonprofit that provides hands-on support and education to families with new babies.

Paul Biondi ’92 has been elected to lead the board of directors for the Princeton (New Jersey) YMCA. Biondi, who is also a senior vice president for research and development at Bristol-Myers Squibb, has served on the board since 2011.

Jonodev Chaudhuri ’93 of Arizona has been nominated by President Obama to serve as chair of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC). Chaudhuri, who currently serves as the vice chairman and associate commissioner of NIGC, was previously senior counselor to the assistant secretary for Indian affairs at the U.S. Department of the Interior from 2012 to 2013.

Amy Winchester ’96, a four-time All-Ivy League first-team selection in track while at Dartmouth, has been inducted into the Maine Sports Hall of Fame in Portland. She was a five-time state champion in track at Brewer High School—twice in both shot put and discus and once in the javelin. 

Georgetown University psychology professor Abigail Marsh ’99 has been awarded a 2014 Cozzarelli Prize from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), which recognizes papers of scientific excellence. Marsh coauthored the paper “Neural and Cognitive Characteristics of Extraordinary Altruists,” which examines how altruistic behavior might be explained. 

Princeton women’s basketball coach Courtney Banghart ’00 led the Tigers to a 30-0 regular-season record, the best season by any team in Ivy League history. Banghart won the 1999 Steitz Award as the top Division I three-point shooter in the country while playing for Dartmouth, where she served as assistant coach from 2003 to 2007 before heading to Princeton.
