Let’s start with some good news about our classmate A. Roger Ekirch.
How are we doing? Several classmates have asked that question, so we did a little digging and this issue’s report is an update on the class of 1952. Actually, we’re doing pretty well. The numbers aren’t 100-percent accurate, but they’re close.
Sam Katz, who is still collecting honorariums, was selected as one of the “25 Most Influential Alumni” in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine’s 250th anniversary issue that led off with Daniel Webster.
One of my references for this column is a rapidly decaying copy of the 1965 Green Book—cover flaking, pages sticking, classmates looking oh so young.
Which Dartmouth classmate influenced you the most (either during our years at Dartmouth, or in the years since we graduated)?
Jeff Kuhn arrived at Dartmouth from New Trier East. Ben Zuraw and Todd Young were high school classmates.
So I got my dates a little messed up as I had thought I had already written my last Class Notes before reunion.
Many of us were just in Hanover!
