Zero Gravity

“I get on my skateboard every day, weather permitting. Whether skating to class or destressing from work with a couple of kickflips and heelflips, I try to be on my skateboard every moment I can,” says Geo Morales ’21. The history and Latino studies major from Arlington, Virginia, would like to see a dedicated skatepark on campus. Until then, he’ll execute his kickflips near Fairchild—as he does here framed by the D2D sculpture—with hopes that Safety & Security officers will let it ride.  Photograph by Eli Burakian ’00
