In June undrafted defenseman Ben Lovejoy ’06 became only the second Dartmouth alum to hoist the Stanley Cup when his Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the San Jose Sharks in six games. Lovejoy celebrated on the ice with wife Avery (Eyre) Lovejoy ’07 and their daughters, June and Lila. “It’s fun to win,” said Lovejoy, who also became the first former Dartmouth player to score a goal in the finals. “Nothing beats this.”
