William Richard Peterson ’52

William Richard Peterson ’52 passed away on June 23, 2020, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Bill was born in Philadelphia on September 3, 1930, and grew up in the same area. He graduated in 1948 from Upper Darby (Pennsylvania) High School and entered Dartmouth with the class of 1952. He left Dartmouth after two years, when his father passed away, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1952. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict he joined Arthur Anderson as a certified public accountant. He later moved to AMP Inc. in Harrisburg until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Janet, and daughter Lynn and her family.
