William J. Fraser ’70

William J. Fraser ’70 died on February 4 in Boise, Idaho, where he had a career in the construction business. Thorne Butler ’70 said, “Bill was a wonderful rugby teammate.” Teammate Rick Ostberg ’70 recalled Bill was one of Dartmouth’s fastest wings, while teammate J.B. Howard ’70 described Bill’s remarkable moves: “In our senior year he was a force in beating Harvard and played a key role when we won the Easterns.” In recent years Bill generously supported men’s rugby. He is survived by his former wives, Beverly and Carol; sister Anne; and nephews Chris and Mike.
