Stuart Davis ’59

Stuart Davis ’59 died on January 14, 2015. He entered Dartmouth from Columbia Grammar School in New York City, majored in English and was a member of Pi Lambda Phi. Following graduation Stu went to Columbia Business School and received an M.B.A. in marketing. He then joined the global advertising agency McCann Erickson and had a long career as an executive with that firm, including assignments in London, Brussels and Tokyo. Following retirement he and Lesley, who were married shortly after his graduation from Dartmouth, moved to Birmingham, Alabama. Lesley died about a year and a half prior to his death. Stu leaves sons Gregory and Douglas, four grandchildren and brother Neal ’61.
